he Irish Java Technologies Conference, hosted by IrishDev.com took place on Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th January 2009 in the Science Gallery,Trinity College Dublin.
The conference was part of IxTC series 2008, provided the Irish Java software development community with a platform to meet, listen to and learn from some of the world's leading authorities on Java technologies delivered sixteen content packed session.

The Irish x Technology Conference
The Irish x Technology Conference series, hosted by IrishDev.com, has brought hundreds of internationally recognised technology speakers to Ireland for the benefit of thousands of software and web developers. The series comprised

In 2009, the IxTC series will come together under one roof for a whole week in August. The Irish Software Show will begin on Monday 20th August with the Irish Web and Irish Open Source Technologies Conferences, followed by Irish Database Technologies Conference mid week and Irish Microsoft and Java Technologies Conferences being the finale of the most ambitious software and web conference ever held in Ireland.
The amalgamation of the conferences will provide software and web developers with the opportunity to learn about diverse technologies, meet fellow developers from 'opposing camps' and experience the industriousness of the community at large.
Aside from the conference, there will be a free exhibition and vendor training courses organised.
There is a strong interest from potential speakers and sponsors to participate and we will be leveraging the relationships built thoroughout 2005-2007 to line-up the most sought after evangelists in the world.
